Find the right place

If you want to see a specific type of animal you will have to go to the place of its habitat. Have a specific animal in mind. This will make you clear where you are headed to and what other different animals you can find there.

Be at the right time

Animals keep changing their behavior throughout the whole year. Learn about their behavior patterns. Going to the place is not enough, going at the right time is.

Habitat

By that we mean the right type of nature or right type of habitat, that you will most likely be able to see the animal in.

Don’t make the noise

Animals have very strong senses. Most of them will be able to sense you before you do the same. Keep a distance and don’t try to feed them. Don’t just rely on your eyes to search for the animals.

Direction of the wind

Most of the animals have a better sense of smell than the sense of hearing or vision. Don’t let the animal smell you. To make that happen, move as much against the wind as you can.

Equipment

If you are better equipped you will increase your chances by manifold. Bringing binoculars is the best option. Also don’t forget to bring something to eat.

Consult locals

Local people in the area will probably know more than you do. Try to interact with them. A local guide can help. If your guide has the experience then it can be very beneficial for you.
