Goat Hunting Gear List
This is a complete list of the hunting gear required for hunting goats.
Rifle optical: hunting can vary from open landscapes to dense forests. A power scope with the option to vary the power will be best suited for the purpose.
Binoculars: make sure to choose those which can work in the fog.
Knife: this will be helpful to gut skin or cap the animal.
Flashlight: take both the versions that include a full sized and a mini one.
Headlamp: this way you can keep your hands free when you need to perform chores at night, which can include cooking as well.
Radio: if you are alone you can pass your time listening to the radio.
GPS: in case you lose your way while on the hunt.
Rifle cleaning kit: if you do wet hunting then a week is enough to do damage to your firearm.
Hunting boots: buy those that provide good ankle support. Also see that they are good with the traction as well.
Sleeping bag: this is especially necessary when you are heading towards a colder place. A good night sleep is too much necessary for a hunting day to go well.
Gloves: buy two pairs of gloves. One insulated and the other, leather one. Insulating gloves will keep your hands dry and warm. Leather gloves will provide a good grip when you will hike over the rocks and stuff. They are also more abrasive resistant than ordinary insulation gloves.
Fire starting material: this is an absolute necessity. Buy magnesium fire starter as they will work even when they have become completely wet.
The above list can now be customized, keeping in mind, your own necessities. The items described above are not to be dispensed away with in any condition, as they can make or break a situation.
